Returns & Refund Policy

15-Day Return Window
You may request a return within 15 days of delivery for any of the following reasons. After 15 days, we are unable to accept return requests.
Eligible Return Reasons
- Book arrived physically damaged (torn pages, broken spine, water damage)
- Wrong book delivered (different title, author, or edition than ordered)
- Book is missing from the package
- Defective printing (missing pages, blank pages, printing errors)
Non-Returnable Situations
- Book has been read, highlighted, or annotated by the customer
- Outer packaging removed or damaged by the customer
- Return requested after 15 days of delivery
- Change of mind (we do not accept returns for personal preference)
- Customer ordered the wrong title or edition by mistake
How to Initiate a Return
- Email support@bookshops.in or WhatsApp +91 99446 78357 with your order number
- Attach a photo or video showing the issue (damage, wrong item, etc.)
- Our team will respond within 24 hours and guide you through the return process
- Once approved, we arrange a free reverse pickup from your location
Refund Process
Once we receive and inspect the returned book, we will issue a full refund within 5–7 business days to your original payment method. COD orders are refunded via NEFT/UPI to your provided bank details.
Replacement Option
Instead of a refund, you may choose a replacement of the same book (same ISBN and edition). Replacements are dispatched after we receive the returned item.
